Twelve years into their existence, and their first full length album, out May 2025, after four singles, numerous compilations & a split LP. BLOODBAGS are a noisy rock & roll three piece from Tamaki Makaurau, part swamp punk blues, part punk boogie. Eight tracks of rollicking pummel, pound, heft & hiss. Recorded & mixed with Matthew Heine (SPUD, Solid Gold Hell), out in the Waitākere Ranges through 2023/2024. Mastered by Marco Butcher in North Carolina. Seven originals, & an obscure cover of “Crawl” by 1980s NYC swamp punk freaks BLACK SNAKES. Have supported the Dwarves, SNFU, Mudhoney, Cosmic Psychos, Guitar Wolf & C.O.F.F.I.N. Done two tours of duty thru the USA. Manic, locomotive, distorted, swinging, thumping primitive rock & roll.
