Let The Night Move In

Let The Night In is the self-produced sophomore album from Auckland artist Kendall Elise. Recorded at Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios, mastered for Vinyl by KOG Studios, with photography and design by San Francisco based internationally published photographer Kristin Cofer.
The record features a full colour printed inner sleeve complete with lyrics, and includes the song, Between Hello and Goodbye, a Finalist for the APRA Best Country Music Song award in 2021. 

Her debut album Red Earth earned her a place as a finalist for Recorded Music New Zealand Best Country Artist Award in 2020. She also gained the attention of Bic Runga, with Runga providing support and mentorship throughout the writing, recording and production process of Let The Night In.

“Let the Night In encourages us to transmute our anger into action, find strength in vulnerability, to embrace the feared and misunderstood” explains Elise, “We are all learning how to unravel and mend the imperfect patchwork of coping methods we’ve scrappily stitched together.
